Client Goals:
The National Football League has millions of viewers every week and an extraordinary amount of data they track for every player and team. They wanted an easy to use real-time web app that could be used by announcers to have information at the tip of their fingers during their live broadcasts.
Description:
Using vector based graphics to ensure crisp display regardless of the device UI is embedded in, this web app uses a PostgreSQL database to retrieve information on the teams/players involved in the current game and updates both the UI and database in real-time using websockets.
