Client Goals:

Inspired by a Facebook group intended to keep people informed of the wait times crossing the USA/Mexico border in southern California, Precise is a unique idea that brings a new value to consumers through peer-to-peer, real-time information on locations of all kinds.

Description:

Users can search locations ahead of time to avoid arriving somewhere with a wait. They can check-in to locations, update the wait time, leave feedback through traditional reviews or the real-time chat for a more in the moment look at things. The custom software we built handles all of the technical functionality for the mobile app and on top of the GPS, reviews, and chat, we created a custom reward system that allowed users to be incentivized for their participation in maintaining Precise information.

Highlights:

Created entire brand identity using client's vision
Location-based or address-based lookup for locations of all kinds
Real-Time chat with image uploads
Custom rewards system integrated with all app interactions from check-ins, to reviews, to messages, and image uploads.
AWS Lamda function written in Python to receive a file upload from the app and convert it to a consistent type and naming schema before storing it in the S3 bucket.
